After landing at Katunayake International Airport, you begin your adventure by traveling straight to Sigiriya. The scenery changes from city hustle to green forests and paddy fields as you enter the beautiful countryside. The evening is free to relax and enjoy the calm nature around your hotel.
Early morning, you visit the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, a 5th-century royal palace built on top of a massive rock.
Climbing the summit rewards you with spectacular 360° views.
A little later, you hike up Pidurangala Rock for another amazing perspective of Sigiriya and the jungle below.
In the afternoon, it’s safari time! Your jeep enters Minneriya National Park, famous for its wild elephants and natural beauty.A perfect day with culture, adventure and wildlife together.
Morning visit to the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, home to ancient paintings and Buddha statues carved inside a mountain.
On the way to Kandy, you make a stop at an Ayurvedic Spice Garden to experience Sri Lankan herbal life.
Once in Kandy, explore the city’s lake, viewpoints, markets and culture.
Optional traditional dance show in the evening adds more color to your day.
The journey continues deeper into hill-country.
