You arrive in Sri Lanka and begin your journey with a quiet evening near the beach or in the historic city of Colombo.A good rest after your flight, and excitement begins for the sacred trail tomorrow.
Your Ramayana journey truly starts here.
You visit Munneshwaram Temple, where Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva after the battle with Ravana.
Then stop at Manavari Temple, the first lingam made and dedicated by Rama.
After this powerful beginning, you travel to the Cultural Triangle for the night.

Morning visit to the mighty Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, a world-famous symbol of Sri Lankan heritage.
Then to the Dambulla Cave Temple, the island’s richest cave art site.
In the afternoon, travel to the sacred city Kandy, known for spiritual beauty and royal history.
Today’s journey takes you deeper into the Ramayana trail. You visit Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple in Ramboda — believed to be built on the area where Lord Hanuman searched for Sita.
Then travel to the cool mountains of Nuwara Eliya, also known as Little England.

Visit the sacred Sita Amman Temple — believed to be where Sita was kept during captivity — still a place of deep devotion.
See Hakgala Botanical Gardens, thought to be Ashok Vatika in the epic.
Enjoy scenic tea mountains and then travel to Ella for a peaceful evening.

Explore Ravana Falls and Ravana Ella Cave, linked to the great King Ravana’s stories.
Walk through the cave area where Sita was once hidden according to the legend.
Then you travel to either:

🔹 Galle — coastal heritage city
Your pick based on your spiritual or exploration preference.
Your final day can include the UNESCO Galle Fort, blending Sri Lankan and colonial heritage, or a beachside relaxation time.
